Captain Brent attended a meeting of the Governor of Phuket and the Marine Police at his request to seek Phuket Cruising Yacht Club’s assistance to co-ordinate a sail past at Phromthep Cape during singing of Thai national anthem for recent tribute to the His Majesty the King held on 28th October.
At short notice Brent in conjunction wth Phuket Cruising Yacht Club organised a fleet of 20 boats that included diving, fishing and cruise vessels representing the local boating community on the island, this event was later shown on national Thai televison.
After the event the Governor of Phuket contacted PCYC officials to convey his thanks to the club for their assistance.
