Captain Brent steered the Donzi media boat to taking some fantastic photos: showcasing Phuket’s beautiful islands setting, media onboard stated it was the best helmed media boat ever provided in Phuket at a regatta.

Phuket Race Week is certainly now part of the Asian racing circuit: in many ways this regatta is better than Kings Cup, less formal and more wind, next year we will see more than just three boats of Ray Roberts DK46 Evolution Sails, Neil Pryde’s Welbourne 52 Hi Fi and Peter Ahern’s Farr 40 Yo!2 in the racing class,

Based in  Singapore and Hong Kong, they had such a great time they all announced they were returning next year.

Closest racing was in the Firefly class, will no handicap to distort results one design really brings out the best in sailors: Voodoo delivered an exceptional performance helmed by a former monohull driver Hans Rahmann, showing the more experienced multihull guys his skills by winning the class at this regatta.
