For visitors Chalong’s 720-metre long, seven-metre wide jetty, is its most noticeable feature:  fuel and water are available from north side of this jetty, they have diesel ,petrol(91 unleaded) and water there prices are much the same as the service stations, when I go to the fuel dock I through them 1 line and hang off by about 3-4 metres ,all of their hoses are long enough it creates more space and in the likly event a 3 engine speedboat passes by doing 30 knots you wont scuff up your top sides, and the locals wont have to listen to another falung  giving an academy award winning performance on how this would never happen in their country,,,

My choice is the fuel boat its a  blue wooden work boat (about 20 meters long )truck tyres as fenders so take their bow line and as you lay along side align your fenders with the tyres to avoid marks on your boat. it has  its moored 100m north  of starboard chanel pilon # 3  on the aproach into Chalong jetty, they have clean diesel and water, their  prices are the same or cheaper than at the jetty

The Diesel and water boat, 100 to RHS of STB marker #3 on the aproach to chalong Jetty

most of the time their sleeping and are happy to be woken 🙂

The building on the jetty is one-stop customs, immigration and harbour master , check in and check out takes about a half an hour, the officers will assist with the forms ,avoid public holidays or weekends as overtime rates apply ,they open at 10am, lunch is 12 to 1 ,and their out of there at 3pm,, UPDATE as of October 2011 Thai Customs have E check in at,       yacht.phuket.go.th     if you cant access this site check in on arrival is still available.      The tourist and marine rescue centre is 100 metres from the start of the jetty if you need an ambulance you will find it there the number is 1555 orBankok Hospital amblance Phone is 1669

Walk up the jetty road and youll find 7/11 stores, bars, dive shops, massage; beauty parlors, laundry, taxies, bike rental, travel agents, restaurants, post office, internet ,go right at the roundaboat and there is a nightmarket, kodak shop, supermarket, newsagent, phone shop.ect ect

Our clubhouse is on the beach front on Chalong bay 300m North up the beach from the jetty towards Phuket town, we are between the big white range marker and the 4 story incomplete building with a green fence look for the dingys on the lines, call in say hi and find out whats going on, check our notice board for great deals and our specials board for drinks and food deals we also rent moto bikes at the best rate in town 🙂

Between our clubhouse and the big white lead marker is a big patch of clean hard sand ideal to beach cats or beachable monos, check it out at low tide find your spot and run it in on the next high, then come to the PCYC and enjoy a cold beer while the tide rolls out

OUR Brokerage covers Chalong bay, we have multihulls, monos, charter fishing boats, dingys, outboards, all priced to sell, come in or browse the listings on this site, Our brokerages commission is 5% of the sale price, we will be with you throughout the entire process

KAYAK RENTALSPaddle to Ko Lon and meet the friendly locals camp out or overnight at one of the homestays

Ao yons Secrete Cove is one of my destinations, its about 2 miles away call in for lunch and a beer, or find Chris or Max and ask them about their catamaran rentals.

Or paddle the anchorage and check out the boats from round the world

Phang Nga Bay is kayak country,  load it on deck and explore the caves and limestone features of Phang Nga bay,PCYC has feelfree  double sit on kayaks  for rent.
